St Joseph’s College, Lochinvar is seeking a Temporary Part Time (15hrs per week) Administrative Officer to join the team January 2025 for 12 months.
St Joseph’s College, founded by the Sisters of St Joseph in 1883 is a co-educational secondary school providing a rich and diverse educational experience for 940 students from Years 7 to 12. POSITION DESCRIPTION
The School Administrative Officer provides administrative support to school staff and the school principal. This position is classified as a level 4.
EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA
* Ability to articulate a clear understanding of and a personal commitment to Catholic Education and to actively supporting the Catholic ethos and culture of the school
* Excellent written communication skills and strong verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
* Demonstrated experience using initiative and self-motivation in the workplace
* Demonstrated ability in accurately and proficiently performing a wide range of administration tasks
* Intermediate experience and ability to work with various databases, Microsoft office programs and excel
* Demonstrated capacity to organise, prioritise and multitask to meet various deadlines
* An understanding and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
* Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and be responsible and accountable for own work with the capacity and willingness to work in a team environment
* Willingness to Comply or Compliance with the CSO Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead Policy. Category A – Accreditation to Work
QUALIFICATIONS
* Current paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) number
* Completion of Anaphylaxis training
