James Cook University (JCU) is creating a brighter future for life in the Tropics and beyond, through education and research that makes a difference locally and globally.We now have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced Campaigns Coordinator to join our Domestic Marketing team.Full time, fixed term until November 2025Based in either Townsville or Cairns$85,816.60 - $92,948.21 per year plus up to 17% employer superannuation contributions, leave loading and other generous employee benefitsABOUT THE ROLEAs the Campaigns Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering expert campaign management services to enhance JCU’s domestic marketing strategies and campaign performance. You will support and execute a range of digital and traditional marketing campaigns to drive engagement and strengthen JCU’s domestic brand presence.Analyzing campaign data to identify opportunities for improvement, you will provide actionable insights to enhance reach and effectiveness. Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders will be crucial to ensuring the seamless delivery of impactful marketing campaigns. Additionally, you will develop and implement high-quality, on-brand content through email automation and other channels to effectively engage and inform key audiences.QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEDegree qualifications and related experience or a combination of relevant education/training and experience.Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering effective campaigns and projects on time that meet client requirements and grow engagement on digital marketing platforms.Effective computer literacy and a demonstrated ability to collect, analyze and utilize a range of data to review and evaluate the strategic achievements of a project or event.Demonstrated well-developed verbal communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to maintain working relationships, including demonstrated ability to consult and liaise with varying levels of stakeholders to achieve outcomes for the organization.Significant organizational, problem-solving and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet competing deadlines, and an established record of exercising judgment and initiative.Special ConditionsThis position may be required to travel within the region including overnight stays and perform after-hours work on occasion.It is a requirement of this position to hold a current Working with Children Suitability Card (Blue Card) and a current ‘C’ class Queensland Drivers Licence.SHAPE YOUR FUTURE WITH JCUAt JCU we’re not just shaping minds; we’re shaping the future.As Australia’s only university established to focus on the issues of Northern Australia and the Tropics worldwide, JCU is dedicated to helping the world’s tropical regions to prosper.
