How will I help?
The Associate Director, Property NSW Analyst will be joining the Westpac Institutional Bank (WIB) Real Estate team. This team is responsible for high quality loan origination and best in class engagement to a diverse group of institutional, corporate and private property related customers. We support clients active in Retail, Residential, Office and Industrial asset classes as well as other specialised property markets. In this role, you will be responsible for credit analysis, delivery of customer and industry insights to differentiate our sales proposition, manage portfolio risk and provide good quality analysis to support and deliver sustainable credit decisions, within a wholesale banking environment. In addition to this you will:
4. Apply knowledge from a variety of internal and external sources to deliver value added insights and research that can be used by both our customers and internal stakeholders
5. Ensure that all aspects of the credit process, including the required due diligence, are properly executed
6. Conduct test proposals against approved business and credit strategies, target market acceptance criteria and underwriting standards
7. Write credit submissions including good quality risk analysis and financial forecasting, and be able to present and navigate submissions through WIB's risk management decision process
8. Determine the suitability of proposals, including acceptability of credit risk and structuring for final approval by a Credit Office

What do I need?
The ideal candidate will have developed some experience in credit analysis within a wholesale or corporate and institutional banking environment. You will demonstrate attention to detail and relationship building abilities with a variety of stakeholders and external clients. You will also have:
9. Strong experience in wholesale banking or a related field, ideally with experience of credit writing
10. Corporate Finance knowledge within one or more of the following sectors of Property, Corporate Banking, Finance or Accounting industry will be well regarded.
11. Goodmunication and influencing skills required to manage significant relationships with stakeholders
12. An ability to apply a risk mindset andmercial acumen
