About the role
The Cloud, Platforms, Infrastructure & Networks (CPIN) Division specialise in supporting and managing AEMO's IT Infrastructure across: Cloud, Platforms, Integration, Networks, Databases, and our On-Prem Data Centre facilities. The primary accountability for the CPIN team is to deliver secure, available IT services 24/7 365 to the AEMO business and Market Participants.
The purpose of the Senior Systems Administrator is to be responsible for delivering a high-quality Digital end-user experience.
What you will be doing
* Working collaboratively across the AEMO business and the Digital division, provide and champion best practice processes in relation to end-user IT and service operations functions
* Deliver high quality end-user IT support for hardware (PC, Laptop, Printers) and Software
* Manage and maintain the end user Windows 11 Standard Operating Environment (SOE) for VDI’s, Desktops and Laptops Ensure End User security is maintained through regular security patching
* Manage application packaging and end user IT management platforms with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (SCCM) and Intune Manage Software license management for SOE applications.
* Contribute to effective communication and coordination of problem-solving efforts between Digital teams, AEMO end-users and external stakeholders.
What you will bring to the role
* Demonstrated experience in the areas of End User IT and IT Service Management.
* You will hold a tertiary and/or post graduate qualifications in an appropriate technology discipline
* Experience managing and maintaining Windows 11 Standard Operating Environment (SOE) for VDI’s.
* Experience managing application packaging and end user IT management platforms with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (SCCM) is essential.
* You will have demonstrable experience working in the areas of End User IT and IT Service Management, managing complexity and competing priorities.
