Brisbane IT & Telecomms Project Management / Team Lead 6 month contract with extensions National organization/hybrid working System Performance Management The Role: A brand-new role has become available for a Senior Project Manager to manage the critical and complex execution of key performance management and observability activities as part of a Platform Upgrade initiative. This role will focus specifically on the Observability and Performance tracks of the upgrade, including defining Non-Functional Requirements, Service Level Agreements, Performance Baseline Assessment, Performance Load Testing, and Application Risk Assessment activities. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the execution of Performance and Observability initiatives Define and document Non-Functional Requirements and Service Level Agreements. Coordinate and execute Performance Load Testing, ensuring that results align with business requirements. Manage Application Risk Assessment activities to assess and mitigate potential risks. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure performance management and observability goals are clearly understood and effectively communicated. Provide strong leadership and management of project deliverables, ensuring that milestones are met and risks are proactively managed. Support transformation and M&A efforts by ensuring that performance-related risks are identified and mitigated throughout the process Key Skills Required: 6 years of PM experience Extensive experience in system performance management, including the ability to define, assess, and manage performance baselines and load testing Background in managing projects related to transformation and M&A, ensuring alignment between business and technical teams Experience in driving observability initiatives and assessing application risks Understanding of performance testing methodologies, NFRs, SLAs, and risk management strategies Previous experience working in financial organizations Apply Now
