This includes designing and delivering unique events and experiences, working with community organisations, creating digital content and managing social accounts, partnering with retailers to market their brands to Westfield customers. Reporting into the Marketing Manager at Westfield Albany, your role as the Marketing Executive is to inspire and deliver exceptional customer experiences every day by engaging and connecting with customers and the community, assisting the Centre Marketing team to execute best-in-class activations and campaigns. In this busy and exciting role, you’ll work on marketing strategy, planning and executing first class events, be an effective communicator with our retail partners and stakeholders, and additionally, play a key role in the broader Centre Experience Team. This is a full time permanent role based at Westfield Albany. Day-to-day you will be responsible for: Bringing to life key centre campaigns from conception to execution (including timelines and budgets), with a focus on lifestyle, cultural events, and fashion, in conjunction with our Marketing Manager. Some of the key moments in the Albany calendar include Matariki, Lunar New Year, School Holidays, Autumn and Spring fashion and of course, Christmas. Developing and executing local implementation of the digital strategy to deliver customer-focused needs across owned, earned and bought channels in conjunction with the Marketing Manager. Providing inputs for the centre’s Marketing plan with a focus on retail energy, and local priorities and pillars/programs, so that budget and resource can be aligned with the Customer Experience Strategic Focus and Strategic Asset Plans. Assisting with the preparation and management of the annual centre Marketing income and expense budget, including sourcing quotes, creating purchase orders, generating accruals, processing invoices and reforecasting. Working effectively with agencies and external suppliers to deliver quality creative assets and services on time and on budget. Gaining an understanding of customer needs by analysing insights, listening tools, and researching data. Performing all Duty Manager requirements on a rotating weekend and evening roster with the rest of the Centre Management Leadership Team (the Duty Manager assumes responsibility for the Chief Warden during an emergency and provides leadership across the centre teams to ensure delivery of an exceptional Customer Experience and provide a safe and secure environment. What sets you apart You will be a confident and passionate, self-motivated individual who enjoys working in a high performing culture. We are also looking for: Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management. Demonstrated experience within a marketing role, where you've been heavily involved in event management, had exposure to brand management, digital and social media, and public relations. Ability to make decisions, be accountable, meet/exceed goals and achieve high-quality results. Someone who has a customer centric mind-set and puts the customer at the heart of all decisions. A qualification would be preferable in Marketing or a related field, but not essential. Skills you possess are excellent communication, brand management, event management, customer experience/guest services, digital and social, media and PR, research and analysis, negotiating, attention to detail and excellence in execution.
