Minara Resources has an opportunity for an experienced Technical Writer to join our established and dedicated Human Resources training team based on site at Murrin Murrin Operations.
Minara Resources is Australia’s largest cobalt producer and a major world producer of nickel. Our Murrin Murrin site in WA’s northern Goldfields is an integrated nickel and cobalt mining and processing operation employing over 1,000 people. The Role
The successful person will become a member of a hardworking and committed team responsible for reviewing and refining existing documentation, identifying areas requiring clarification, and gathering information from trainers, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and internal stakeholders.
The Technical Writer develops high-quality training materials, technical documents, work instructions, and user guides to enhance workforce capability and knowledge.
You will be responsible for:
o Developing content to be utilized across multiple channels.
o Interpreting and clarifying technical content to deliver engaging, accurate, and compliant documentation.
o Maintaining a high level of health, safety, and environmental awareness and compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
o Maintaining accurate records and version controls of all documentation.
o Maintaining currency in all training: work licenses and other subject matter.
About You
This role would suit a technically competent and driven professional communicator skilled in training and knowledge transfer, ideally looking for a new challenge in our multifaceted processing plant.
You will also have:
o Advanced diploma in a technical or scientific field with at least 3 years of professional experience in a design/methods office or Graduate diploma/master’s degree in a technical or scientific field.
o Comprehensive knowledge of vocational training legislation.
o Strong project management capabilities.
o Proficient in computer skills, including the use of integrated management systems, word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet applications.
o Ability to deliver training and effectively engage groups in learning.
