About The OPPORTUNITYWe have an exciting opportunity for a Communications Coordinator to join our team.
The location of this role is flexible.
In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of communications activities that promote and protect BAE Systems Australia's brand and reputation with internal and external stakeholders.
In particular, this role will support the relevant team with content creation, digital and media engagement, events, brand development and content optimisation, reporting and measurement for stakeholders.
We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, with options of working a 9-day fortnight and/or hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities IncludeSupport the communications team in the delivery of timely and targeted internal and external communications activities and plansResearch, develop and distribute content that drives business resultsCollaborate with subject matter experts within the business in content developmentCoordinate, develop and drive communications regular reporting and measurementCoordinate and support with communications for upcoming events/site visitsCoordinate and curate social media contentDevelop, implement and support communications administrative systems, databases, distribution lists, filing systems, record and proceduresCoordinate and source quotes/purchasing of materials for communications activities as requiredProvide administrative support to the team as requiredAbout YOUExcellent writing skills and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders1-2 years' experience in a communications role, ideally in a corporate environmentExperience with social media platforms and content creationExperience in managing multiple business and functional prioritiesEnthusiasm for developing your communication and marketing skills, and to lean in and learn about Australia's biggest Defence companyAs a Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and either possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain appropriate clearances.
