Pure Foods Eggs is a proud Tasmanian company that has been in operation for over 30 years.Pure Foods Eggs is Tasmania's premier egg producer, distributing over 3.6 million dozen eggs per year.We are passionate about great Tasmanian products, and we pride ourselves on delivering the highest quality produce.We supply to retailers including Coles, Woolworths and IGA, making sure that more Tasmanians wake up to a Pure Foods egg than any other brand.We are committed to our local community and support numerous not-for-profit organisations across the state.We are seeking a capable and proactive Maintenance Manager to join our maintenance team.The primary purpose of this role is to undertake preventative and reactive functions aligned with site, plant, and equipment maintenance across our farm and grading floor facilities.You will also lead a team of capable employees and work alongside the broader management team, completing administrative and compliance tasks as required.Key tasks include:Leadership & Team Management:Lead and manage a team of mechanical fitters, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance.Maintenance Operations:Oversee all maintenance activities, including preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems.24/7 Coverage:Ensure the farm's machinery and systems are fully operational around the clock by organising shifts and on-call support for the maintenance team.Equipment & System Management:Maintain and organise the servicing of key equipment such as conveyors, pumps, vehicles and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting:Provide hands-on support during critical breakdowns, troubleshooting both electrical and mechanical issues promptly.Budget & Inventory Management:Manage the maintenance budget, plan for spare parts and consumables, and oversee inventory levels to minimize downtime.Compliance & Safety:Ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all staff and contractors.Minimum Requirements:Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or Supervisor.Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a multi-disciplinary team.Relevant Trade Qualification in electrical systems, mechanical fitting, or equivalent.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions under pressure.Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.This is a full-time position.This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful Tasmanian company and be part of a diverse and dynamic team.If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!Shortlisted applicants may be required to undertake a pre-employment medical so we can be sure that you are physically able to do the tasks required in the role.Applications close on Friday 4th of October 2024.#J-18808-Ljbffr
