The Role
Hunter Class Frigate (HCF) are seeking exceptional APS 6 Logistics Engineer to join our dynamic team.
As an APS 6 Logistics Engineer, working within HCF you will be given the unique opportunity to:
* Performing and achieving complex logistics tasks.
* Provide specialist and administrative support to the Logistic Engineer Manager and Logistic Director.
* Exercise knowledge of and compliance with legislative frameworks, government decision-making and Defence’s mission and policy.
* Development and review of Certificate of Analysis (CoA) and Contractor Logistics Plans including logistic support analysis (LSA).
* Review of Contract Deliverables i.e. contract data requirements list (CDRLs).
* Monitor and action the Logistic mailbox.
* Draft correspondence to internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Logistic Director.
* Build and sustain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to SEA5000.
* Completing any ad hoc tasks as they arise to assist the SEA5000 Integrated Logistics Team (ILS) team.

The Hunter Class Frigate (HCF) will be one of the most advanced warships in the world with cutting edge technology and capabilities. As Australia’s largest shipbuilding project, HCF provides the foundation for Continuous Naval Shipbuilding in Australia. We are working with experts from the UK, USA, Canada and Europe to provide six frigates optimised for anti-submarine warfare to the Royal Australian Navy.
The frigates are being constructed at the Osborne Naval Shipyard, South Australia utilising the latest production technologies. You will have access to generous working conditions as an Australian Public Servant in Defence.
