About the role(s)
AHP1 - Radiographer – Level 1
* The incumbent contributes to the provision of medical imaging services using Radiography equipment to perform standard diagnostic radiographic examinations for clients /patients, with progressing professional independence.
AHP2 - Radiographer – Level 2
* The Radiographer – Level 2 is responsible for more complex radiography within various modalities, using Radiography equipment to perform diagnostic medical imaging examinations for consumers/patients across a range of clinical specialities, with minimal professional direction.
* The incumbent provides professional direction to other radiographers, newly graduated radiographers, undergraduate students on clinical placement and work experience students.
* The incumbent contributes to approved research and departmental quality assurance programs, under professional direction.

Essential Requirements:
* Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
* Working With Children Check (DHS)
* Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description. SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
Educational/Vocational Qualifications:
* Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification, which entitles a statement of accreditation in Diagnostic Radiography from the Australian Institute of Radiography, or its recognised equivalent (up to July 2012) and then registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (post July 2012).Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Agency (AHPRA).
* Must be licensed or eligible to apply for

+ Licence to operate radiation apparatus pursuant to Section 24 of the Radiation Protection and Control Act, SA 2021 (Operation of all diagnostic X-ray apparatus for the purpose of human radiography.)
