About the job:
This position will be part time providing person-centred care to patients in the Tablelands and Mehi sectors, it forms part of the multi-disciplinary team that provides treatment to patients experiencing substance dependence.
About You:
The successful candidate will have outstanding organisational skills, be ethical with the ability to set good boundaries, and capable of maintaining a high level of confidentiality. You will be flexible in your work approach, with exceptional people skills displaying empathy and understanding to each patient’s unique situation and have the capacity to think and solve problems as they arise.
Where you’ll be working:
This role is negotiable, with location options including Moree, Inverell or Narrabri, and reporting to the Drug & Alcohol Northern Nurse Manager. Clinically you will be supported by virtual and face-to-face Addiction Medicine Specialists and Medical Officers, the Northern Nurse Manager and other members of the multi-disciplinary team. There are regularly scheduled education sessions and clinical supervision will be provided to you on commencement in the role and continue during your employment.

Rural Health Incentives:
This vacancy is eligible for an Attraction and Relocation package that includes the following*:
1. Attraction incentive paid as a Rural and Regional fortnightly allowance of up to $10,000 for the first 12-months
2. Retention incentive of up to $5,000 thereafter annually

*All payments and reimbursements made to part time employees will be on a pro-rata basis.
