About the Role
This role involves working independently as a Field Service Technician in Townsville to provide exceptional customer experiences by installing and ensuring telecommunications/technology products and services are operational at homes and businesses.
You will be part of a diverse team environment, delivering optimal customer and commercial outcomes aligned to our corporate strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver seamless service rectifications and product installations that meet Telstra's high standards.
* Maintain and install copper cables, including fault finding, jointing, jumpering, and networking.
* Manage Fibre network technology, Core network technology, and Data services.
* Perform maintenance and installation of Customer Premises Equipment for both consumers and businesses.
* Fault-find over copper networks in rural or remote settings.
Qualifications:
* Hold a current Certificate III in Telecommunications.
* Possess an Open Cabling License.
* Hold Traffic Management Qualifications.
* Maintain an industry White Card.
