The company that is hiring is a China company that handles cold chain logistics, especially for FMCG products. This position will require setting up the business in Australia and overseeing the whole logistics operation.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute business strategies to ensure the company's growth in the cold chain logistics sector.Identify market opportunities, establish partnerships, and expand the company’s client base.Lead new business initiatives, including investment in infrastructure, technology, and process improvements.Oversee the end-to-end cold chain logistics operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with industry standards.Manage warehousing, transportation, and distribution processes to maintain the integrity of temperature-sensitive goods.Ensure all operations comply with local and international food safety regulations, including HACCP, GMP, and ISO standards.Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team across warehousing, transportation, and customer service departments.Implement advanced logistics technology such as IoT tracking, real-time temperature monitoring, and warehouse automation.Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions, including equipment failure, weather conditions, and regulatory changes.QualificationsBachelor's or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Professional certifications in Logistics, Cold Chain Management, or Transportation (e.g., CSCMP, APICS, HACCP) are an advantage.Proven track record in managing cold chain logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution of perishable goods.Experience liaising with South East Asia is preferred.Experience working with FMCG, food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, or other temperature-sensitive industries is highly preferred.Expertise in end-to-end logistics management, including procurement, warehousing, transportation, and distribution.
