About the Role Our Employee Relations (ER) team is looking for an Employee Relations Senior Manager to join our vast community of solvers. The ER team brings our purpose to life by being an agile and dynamic team of talented and passionate ER professionals. They are problem solvers who use their expertise, commercial acumen, and care for people to investigate, review, and advise on a range of employee relations cases.
You'll help solve complex problems by using your skills in:
Employee Relations Employment Law Workplace Investigations Dispute Resolution Industrial Relations Human Resources best practices and risk management Analytical methodologies, including data analysis Gathering and analysing information, problem-solving, and making decisions One or all of the following systems: Workday, Phenom, Service Now, Alteryx and Power BI In our ER team, your impact will be seen by:
Being a trusted senior adviser to the People & Culture Directors, performing a business partnering role offering strategic thinking and advice related to employee relation matters in a workplace that's human-led and tech-enabled Solving ER problems, like (e.g. investigating/conducting and/or advising on) such as misconduct, employee grievances and performance management Providing prompt, informed, and commercial, strategic advice and guidance in response to a range of employee relations cases and matters. This will centre on PwC's employment policies and practices, employment law, risk and best practice Conducting investigations relating to internal complaints and disciplinary issues, including end to end management of complex employment relations cases Delivering data insights to stakeholders, and advice on action in response to said data Using ER related data to understand the ER landscape (e.g. case volumes, nature of cases etc) and work with their stakeholders; sharing insights and trends in order to understand cause and effect Being active on participation/leading strategic projects that impact on the employment relationship by working with teams such as Risk, Workplace Health and Safety, Risk, and the Office of General Counsel (OGC) Designing and delivering core-capability ER knowledge/development and learning within the wider People & Culture team and have close engagement with People & Culture/People Leaders on the strategy for managing complex/high risk ER cases, taking a risk based approach, and taking into account all relevant stakeholders, plus reputational, regulatory and legal considerations Guide, and educate junior ER professionals Policy drafting and interpretation, to ensure alignment with relevant legislative frameworks and best practice principles. More About You As an effective and professional communicator, be able to: Draw relevant facts from, and give guidance to, clients some of whom will have little or no employee relations knowledge; Convey credibility in this field to partners/business and People & Culture colleagues; Identify and articulate the risks inherent to a range of strategies in dealing with complex ER and related matters, and be prepared to challenge and be challenged by senior stakeholders; Draft/review written communications that combine ease of reading with technical clarity and representing the PwC brand appropriately and confidently deliver learning events/briefings etc. Utilise strong influencing skills with various stakeholders including senior partners About PwC At PwC, we are a human-led, tech-powered community of solvers.
