Recruitment Portfolio Lead at Rural Doctors Network
Outreach Psychiatrist – Central West Aboriginal Mental Health and Wellbeing
RDN is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from psychiatrists in providing new and established psychiatry services to several locations in NSW’s Central West.
Successful applicants will be responsible for delivering culturally safe, psychiatry outreach services for Aboriginal patients working within a supported team environment. These services will be provided in local Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services throughout the Central West.
These services are supported by NSW Health under Central West NSW Mental Health and Wellbeing Program: Regional Psychiatry Services.
Applicants need a willingness to work within a mixed model delivery, with predominantly face-to-face clinics in the first six months.
There are four locations, with each service requiring individual needs, so willingness for flexibility with each location is required. Not all locations need to be serviced by the same clinician, so applications can be made for an individual location.
