Job Description
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
o Managing end-of-month processes, including the creation of general journals, revenue entries, cost and wage accruals, internal recharges, and reconciliation of monthly credit card transactions
o Performing monthly profit and loss (P&L) analysis against the budget, providing detailed commentary and key performance indicator (KPI) insights
o Compiling weekly receipt summaries, bi-weekly debtor reports, and other ad hoc financial reports as needed
o Assisting in the management and upkeep of financial reporting systems
o Supporting the preparation of annual budgets
o Cultivating effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including CEOs, site managers, doctors, auditors, and suppliers
o Develop and maintain complex financial models for business cases related to strategic projects, including retail performance, working capital, rebates, and intercompany transactions.
o Liaise with external auditors, ensuring accurate documentation is provided promptly and audit queries are addressed efficiently. Proposing process enhancements to improve efficiency and ensure precise reporting
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role you must have:
o CA / CPA qualified
o Degree in Accounting and Finance
o Proven capability to partner with various stakeholders at different levels
o Strong work ethic and self motivated nature
o Experience working in a Manufacturing or FMCG environment is beneficial
o Skilled in managing multiple competing tasks efficiently.
o Team-focused, hardworking, and committed to task completion.
