Being part of this team does not mean you are just working for a company, but for a cause Neuraxpharm Australia, based in Sydney, we are looking for a: HEAD OF COMMERCIAL Your mission: We are seeking an experienced Pharmaceutical Sales Manager to lead the commercialization of specialty and innovative Neuroscience products. This role will initially manage the performance of a partner company’s sales team and oversee the transition of the product in-house within the first year. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in CNS and desirable Multiple Sclerosis (MS) sales leadership, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to drive performance in both partner and in-house sales teams. Your major accountabilities: Oversee and optimize the performance of the partner company’s sales team, ensuring alignment with sales targets and strategic objectives. Build strong relationships with the partner company to ensure consistency in sales execution, messaging, and customer engagement. Analyze performance data and provide insights to enhance effectiveness and customer interactions. Work closely with Head Office teams to ensure strategic alignment. Act as the primary liaison between the company and the partner company’s management and sales team, ensuring smooth collaboration and clear communication. Phase 2: Transition & In-House Team Expansion Develop and execute a strategy to transfer the product from the partner company to an in-house sales team (7 FTE). Recruit, onboard, and train a high-performing team of Neuroscience Account Managers to ensure a seamless transition. Establish sales strategies, performance metrics, and coaching frameworks to optimize the new team’s effectiveness. Provide leadership, coaching, and development to the sales team to ensure optimal performance. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform commercial strategies. Specific accountabilities: Ensure compliance with all regulatory and industry guidelines. Prepare and present performance reports, sales forecasts, and business insights to senior leadership. Bring country expertise. Understanding market specificities and country’s local regulations in Australia. Manage commercial operations and plan the most efficient use of the sales force & marketing resources. Grow revenues and profitability in Australia. Improve productivity and performance at country level, according to the group objectives, strategy and plans. We would like you to have: University Degree. 5 years’ experience in CNS pharmaceutical sales leadership, desirable 3 years’ experience in Multiple Sclerosis (MS). A dynamic and positive leader with a proactive approach to tackling complex issues. Proven experience in leading teams and managing people effectively. Excellent relationship-building skills with Neurologists, MS specialists, and key healthcare stakeholders. Proven success in sales management and new product launches. Experience in PBS products through hospital channels and specialty care sales. Strong numerical ability and experience in analyzing data and forecasting. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences, including Board level. Self-motivated, with strong prioritization and organizational skills. Experience negotiating at a senior level. Experience in product transitions is desirable. Strong ability to lead both partner sales teams and in-house sales teams. A numerate degree in Science, Economics, Business Studies, or a related field.
