Allied Health Assistant - Banana (Casual) About us:The Gladstone and Banana Allied Health Clinical Network consists of six on site Health Practitioner professions: Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Nutrition and Dietetics, Psychology and Social Work. In addition to the generalist services provided, the Allied Health professions provide two targeted service areas, namely developmental paediatrics and cancer care.About the role:The Allied Health Assistant works as a member of the Banana Allied Health Team, providing acute and subacute care to inpatients of the Biloela Hospital and outreach Multipurpose Health Service (MPHS) facilities, as well as outpatient and community patients. Care is supported through the provision of clinical support tasks under the direction and supervision of an Allied Health Professional.Assist in the provision of clinical screening and outcome assessments under the supervision of an Allied Health Professional.Provide basic education to patients or groups of patients under guidance of an Allied Health Professional.Build and maintain productive working relationships and provide effective leadership.About you:Non-mandatory qualifications/requirements: Whilst not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded.
