Our Client is a Townsville-based Government Department that works with other Government agencies to manage their building, construction, and maintenance requirements.
The Opportunity
Are you a driven and detail-oriented professional with experience in managing building projects? Join our team as a Project Manager in Townsville and play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality construction outcomes that exceed customer expectations.
Manage all phases of building projects, from planning and design to construction and completion, ensuring they meet customer needs and quality standards.
Coordinate with team members, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Handle contracts using various systems to ensure smooth project progress.
Serve as the main point of contact for customers, addressing their needs and building strong relationships.
Communicate and work with project teams to stay on schedule and meet milestones.
Track project budgets and timelines, create reports, and review team performance.
Support the Senior Project Manager with fee setting, billing approvals, and customer satisfaction.
Follow and enforce quality standards throughout the project.
About You
Proven experience in project management within the construction or building sector.
Strong coordination, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and team performance effectively.
A collaborative approach to working with diverse stakeholders and customers.
