Rentokil Initial has a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Customer Service Consultant to join our team based in Rockhampton on a permanent, full-time basis.In this role, you will be an important member of the Customer Service team reporting directly to the Customer Service Manager where you will provide phone and email customer service, sales and support.The core responsibilities in this role include:Receiving inbound calls and email enquiries from domestic customersProactively making outbound calls to our existing customers to promote our products and servicesResolving customer queries quickly and accuratelyScheduling appointments for residential customersConverting incoming enquiries into sales opportunitiesLiaising with your fellow colleaguesMeeting call and internal sales targetsMaintaining our databases by ensuring customer records and details are up to date while ensuring compliance.Requirements:Experience working in customer service or call centre environments (essential)Demonstrated experience in phone sales and converting enquiries into salesCapable of working with multiple database systems and email programs with experience in word and spreadsheet packages desirableProficient with communicating verbally and electronicallyAble to work calmly under pressure while multi-taskingProven problem-solving skillsAbility to focus on delivering a 'wow' experience to customersAbility to work in a team environment to support fellow colleaguesProfessional, reliable and punctualAccurately enter data into systemsAs part of the recruitment process, you will be required to complete the pre-employment medical and reference checks.
