Senior Technical and Business Support Manager, ANZAs a Senior Technical and Business Support Manager, you will manage a team developing products, matching colors, and technically supporting manufacturing and PPG customers. You will support multiple SBU’S (Refinish, PMC, and Packaging) and analytical function for ANZ. Your working location will be located in Clayton, Australia, and reporting to the Global Technical Director for Automotive Refinish.As Senior Technical and Business Support Manager, you will lead the entire Refinish technical effort in Australia/New Zealand supporting a variety of segments such as collision, commercial vehicles, defense, and light industrial coatings to achieve the team’s goals, including the tasks of planning, organizing, and directing research activities. You will manage a full project portfolio and engaging to set strategic directions. You will also have responsibility for local management of the customer and technical service S&T teams for Packaging and Protective & Marine Coatings. The leader is also responsible for leading the X-SBU analytical team supporting all PPG businesses in ANZ with a dotted line reporting to the AP Corporate Analytical Leader.As a team manager, you will also responsible for hiring and developing top talent, driving execution, and ensuring portfolio alignment. Leveraging all the research resources available in PPG in scope to support the growth of the Refinish business and foster opportunities in other markets and segments will also be a part of your work. You will manage the regional and global projects and the work with deep collaboration with the global product development labs. You will be part of the Global Technical Leadership Team for the Refinish Business and the Asia Pacific Analytical Leadership Team. Your role will be integrated into Science and Technology as well as the business unit development organization.
