The SQL Developer / Data Engineer is to design, optimise, manage data pipelines, models, and provide analytics-ready solutions using Microsoft Fabric.Permanent Full TimeSupportive and Growth-Oriented CultureHybrid Working / Edwardstown SA OfficeA leading environmental management and consultancy company is seeking an experienced SQL Developer / Data Engineer with knowledge in Microsoft Fabric, building future-ready data solutions.This role is ideal for a talented SQL Developer / Data Engineer eager to work with cutting-edge technology and build modern data solutions that drive smarter, faster decisions.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and optimize SQL databases, views, stored procedures, and functions.Build and manage data pipelines and lakehouses using Microsoft Fabric.Develop reusable, metadata-driven ETL/ELT pipelines to handle diverse data sources and ensure scalability.Model clean, accurate, and reporting-ready data in collaboration with analysts.Utilize Spark (Scala), Spark SQL, and Python for advanced data transformations.Monitor and improve the performance of data pipelines and datasets.Implement and adhere to data security, quality, and compliance best practices.Prepare trusted datasets and semantic models to power Power BI dashboards and analytics.Document data models, pipelines, and structures to support knowledge sharing and governance.Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for deploying data solutions.Key Requirements:Tertiary Education, or relevant industry qualifications.Strong skills in relational database design and dynamic SQL.Skilled in building ETL/ELT pipelines and managing large datasets.Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, or Synapse.Proficiency in Spark (Scala), Spark SQL, Python, and PowerShell.Experience with Azure DevOps and Git for collaborative development.Experience in Power BI and self-service analytics.Experience in integrating APIs or external data sources.Familiarity with lakehouse or modern data architecture patterns.Solid understanding of data quality and governance principles.Strong collaboration and communication with technical and business teams.Salary Package: $100K-$120K Base Salary + SuperannuationJob Ref:3892069TO APPLY: please click on the appropriate link.#J-18808-Ljbffr
