Service Technicians support the Hospital Employees, Personnel, and users across Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH), Fremantle Hospital, as well as satellite locations for the FSH Medihotel and FSH Cockburn Mental Health facility.
This support extends to Audio Visual (AV) Equipment and Patient Entertainment systems (PES), remote monitoring and scheduling of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV's) and reactive and planned Maintenance of a range of FM managed technical assets, including but not limited to AV, PES and AGV assets.
Responsibilities will include:
Set up and control portable and fixed audio-visual equipment.Perform service upgrades, modifications and apply patches, including testing and recommissioning.Troubleshoot system errors remotely providing level 1 and 2 support. Raise fault reports/work orders to initiate third party repairs.Attend reactive callouts to patient rooms, clinical spaces, and meeting rooms, interacting with patients, clinicians, and other Hospital Users.Providing assistance and contributing to the wider DTS team's objectives for the locations we provide service to, including Fiona Stanley Hospital and FSH Cockburn Health campuses.Serco is a place for you
You bring proven expertise in customer liaison and interactions, with a strong commitment to resolving customer issues. You are skilled in technical problem-solving, coupled with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to meet operational goals.
To be successful in this role you'll have:
Knowledge of digital and high-definition systems, including HD projection and video distribution.Knowledge in media/content platforms, (Video Asset Management-Content Management Systems). A working knowledge of IPTV, video codecs, encoding/transcoding, video file formats aspect ratios and understanding of file-based workflows.High level computer skills, digital media, web and editing experience would be highly regarded.A high-level understanding of system schematics and operation manuals.Understanding and basic troubleshooting of ICT networks.Desirable AVIXA Certified Technology SpecialistCrestron accreditation or experience with third party control systemsFamiliarity with ICT Networked Audio-Visual Systems.ITIL CertificationsAs a fast-growing and successful global company, Serco's services span across the areas of justice, migration, defence, space, customer services, health, and urban mobility.
