Duties: Initiating and being responsible for the clinical care of obstetric and gynaecological patients; including inpatients, antenatal clinic, emergency department and other areas of the health service. Support the implementation of the Maternity Services Plan including development of a woman-centred model of care based on the National Childbirth Association guidelines and informed by women in consultation with other stakeholders.
