The Administration Assistant is a new and important member of the Hey Dowling team. The Administration Assistant will work closely with the Hey Dowling Directors to realise Hey Dowling’s objectives of offering accessible artistic programming to a wider audience and fostering sustainable careers for Hey Dowling artists.
This role is accountable to the Directors for delivery of finance and administration services for Hey Dowling to support their work with artists, shows, venues and festivals.
The Administration Assistant will work closely with the Directors to develop effective and efficient systems for the ease of workflow in the areas of finance, marketing, administration and other support of Hey Dowling Projects.
Essential:
- Experience in administrative roles
- Experience with bookkeeping duties including payroll and account reconciliation Knowledge and experience in or a willingness to learn the following applications and tools:
* Xero or a similar financial management system
* Google Suite
* Excel/Google sheets
* Word/Google Docss
Optional but preferred experience in:
- Asana
- Project management
- Canva
- Social media content creation: Facebook and Instagram
- Slack - Communication
- Squarespace - Website content management
- Email marketing tools
- Square - POS
Experience in an arts organisation is preferred
$53,680 - $70,000 pro-rata plus super (based on experience)
