About the Role: As the International Sales Manager (Wine), you will be responsible for driving the growth of Byrne Vineyards' wines in international markets. You will lead our export sales strategy, manage key relationships with global distributors, and expand our footprint in existing and new regions. This role is based at our Prospect office, with the opportunity to travel internationally to trade events and meet clients. You will need to understand operational, financial and strategic matters while building a growing business and manage a small team. Additionally, this role will support the CEO (to whom you will report directly) and the Advisory Board. Key Responsibilities: Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Create and implement strategies to increase sales and market share in targeted international markets. Market Expansion: Identify new market opportunities, attending international wine trade shows and tastings to promote our wines and attract new clients. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients, distributors, and importers. Act as the primary point of contact for all export-related inquiries. Contract Negotiations: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with international distributors, ensuring profitable outcomes while fostering long-term partnerships. Team Collaboration: Work closely with production, marketing, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of orders and to align promotional campaigns for international markets. About You: To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in international wine sales and a deep understanding of global wine markets. You should be a highly motivated, results-driven individual with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to close high-value deals. Essential Experience & Skills: A minimum of 5 years in export sales or international business development, ideally within the wine or beverage industry. Strong knowledge of international wine markets, distribution networks, and export regulations. Proven track record in achieving sales targets and negotiating successful contracts. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus). Willingness to travel internationally and represent Byrne Vineyards at trade shows, tastings, and client meetings. What We Offer: Competitive salary package with performance-based incentives.
