Regulatory Change Project Keystart is seeking a skilled problem solver with a proven ability to navigate a regulatory change environment to join an exciting and unique program as a Business Analyst on a Fixed Term (1 year) Contract. The Keystart Act 2024 passed by Parliament in November 2024, establishes Keystart as a Government Trading Enterprise (GTE) with an operational date of July 1 2025. In this role, you’ll be the Finance team’s representative on the GTE Project and work alongside representatives of other Keystart departments. This role is offered as a part time position, and we are flexible as to how your hours are worked (school hours or four days per week and some working from home) Your key responsibilities will include: Updates to existing process maps and procedures by consultation with Finance team SME’s Identify new process requirements and create policies and procedures Identify opportunities for future system upgrades Coordinate User Acceptance Testing of the finance system changes and perform critical reviews of test scripts Support bank account, ATO & APRA changes Collaborate with the wider project team Share ideas and contribute to the discovery and investigation of options for finance deliverables including Financial Reporting, Budgeting, Compliance Reporting, GST, Dividends and Internal Reporting and support delivery Create new forms and workflows to support new processes in Sharepoint Accountant with Project Experience You are an accountant with a strong practical understanding of accounting principles that has experience applying these skills to a complex project. This might include a software implementation or procedural change. You are a flexible thinker that enjoys working through plans, ticking off outcomes and pulling on that piece of string to see where it goes. Ideally you also bring some BA capability; the ability to analyse, and document business requirements along with facilitating effective stakeholder collaboration and ensuring that deliverables meet deadlines.
