Our client, a respected leader in the financial services sector, is seeking a Credit & Reporting Officer to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to develop their career in credit assessment, financial reporting, and client support within a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.
About the Role
In this role, you’ll report to the Finance and Administration Manager and play a pivotal part in the team’s success. Key responsibilities include:
* Credit application management – assess and onboard new clients while evaluating their creditworthiness.
* Supporting sales teams and brokers – handle finance quotes, deal queries, and provide seamless sales support.
* Settlement compliance – ensure all pre-settlement and post-approval processes meet compliance standards.
* Financial reporting – prepare and interpret financial information to assist senior management decision-making.
* Revenue reconciliation – oversee monthly finance revenue and provide detailed analysis.
* Client management – maintain relationships with existing clients, supporting Account Managers where needed.
* Budget preparation and analysis – assist in designing frameworks to achieve financial goals.
This diverse role also includes general administrative and reporting tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the finance department.
What We’re Looking For Our ideal candidate will have:
* 1-2 years’ experience in a Credit Officer or similar role, preferably in banking or financial services.
* Strong knowledge of lending products, credit processes, and compliance regulations.
* Outstanding communication skills, with a professional and confident approach.
* A high level of attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
* Intermediate Excel skills(essential) and proficiency in other financial tools.
Qualifications:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
* Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency (essential).
