With a clear vision of being the industry leader in mortuary and embalming services Invocare is seeking to engage a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to lead and develop a pipeline of local and international talent.
The Opportunity:
We are looking for a dynamic and innovative Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our People and Culture team and help build our pipeline of future talent. This role is key to ensuring that InvoCare remains at the forefront of talent acquisition in mortuary services by attracting the best talent, both locally and internationally. You will design and implement strategic sourcing campaigns, build talent pipelines, and position InvoCare as the employer of choice in this specialized industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute sourcing campaigns tailored to the unique needs of mortuary and embalming roles across Australia, Asia, and the Pacific regions.
* Candidate Pipelining: Proactively map and headhunt passive candidates, ensuring we maintain a talent pool for both current and future needs.
* Technology & Social Media: Lead and manage online sourcing channels, including LinkedIn, our careers page, and other social media platforms, ensuring a compelling employer brand.
* Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor analysis, and salary benchmarking to help attract the best talent.
* Employer Branding: Drive initiatives that position InvoCare as the preferred employer, ensuring our employment value proposition is communicated effectively.
What You’ll Bring:
* Experience in sourcing for hard-to-fill or niche roles, with a proven track record in local and international recruitment either in an in house recruitment role or resourcing in an agency or executive search firm.
* Strong expertise in leveraging technology, social media, and online platforms for recruitment.
* Excellent relationship-building skills, particularly with professional and academic bodies.
* Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
* Knowledge of immigration processes to fast-track specialist visas is desirable.
Location: Currently, our office is based in North Sydney, but we are excited to be relocating to Rhodes in the near future. Please note, this role requires you to work 5 days a week in the office, where you’ll be surrounded by a collaborative team environment.
