Working with the General Manager and Directors, you will be responsible for environmental compliance of the waste transport, landfill and quarrying activities.Key accountabilitiesRespond to customer and departmental requests regarding issues related to environmental compliance and protection and undertake required follow up to achieve timely and appropriate outcomes.Maintain accurate and up to date CRM records to enable information sharing and to assist in providing reports to stakeholders.Report regularly to the General Manager on results achieved against targets to meet reporting requirements.Promote the positive and collaborative culture and values of the organisation through open, fair and transparent decision making and ethical, professional behaviour.Work in collaboration with and assist the team, general manager, director and other key stakeholders to achieve goals, work requests, demands and priorities.Undertake compliance activities in a manner that ensures our natural environment is protected from harm and our built environment is consistent with approved relevant applications and/or certificates.Maintain up to date knowledge of regulatory and policy changes applicable to team investigation practices and processes.The role operates and is accountable for the delivery of initiatives and activities on time, and to meet expectations in terms of quality, deliverables and outcomes.Knowledge and understanding of Environmental Authorities and Environmentally Relevant Activities.Working knowledge of relevant legislations, regulations, and statutory authority guidelines.
