We are looking to fill a Director, Business Development role, and we’re on the hunt for an amazing teammate to join our team!
This role will be a mix of working from home and can be located in our Perth WA office (full-time opportunity).
This individual will lead the development of business solutions for TELUS Health. This role will manage client accounts and develop new business through innovative sales ideas, including new sales strategies, sales pitches, and business plans. The purpose is to generate more revenue for TELUS Health.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and manage a strong pipeline to ensure 4-5x quota target coverage.
2. Meet quarterly (and annual) ACV financial targets.
3. Enthusiastically represent TELUS Health in business presentations and relationships, community efforts and general networking activities
4. Communicate professionally and confidently. Must be able to passionately articulate the TELUS Health business proposition and ROI model.
5. Collaborate with the sales, marketing and business development teams to originate and organise new business development initiatives and project strategies.
6. Implement business development strategies to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and agreed business targets.
7. Participate in the ongoing strategic planning process as an integral member of the senior management team and oversee long-term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with TELUS Health strategic plan.
8. Cultivate relationships and maintain open communication channels with clients, stakeholders as required.
Skills & Experiences
9. Trained on, and user experience with, an internationally accredited Sales methodology.
10. Trained on and user experience with SalesForce or similar lead generation tool and CRM.
11. Experience of consultative selling appropriate business solutions, HR Systems and Business Software Applications.
12. Ability to identify and proactively engage new clients.
13. Ability to work effectively with Account Management team to drive Upsell opportunities, while strengthening TELUS Health relationship / standing with the clients.
14. A highly energetic, trusted and influential relationship builder that has a strong attention to detail.
15. Commercial acumen to negotiate contracts, and optimise revenue and margin opportunities.
16. Exhibits a passion for problem solving and bringing value to a client’s organisational success.
17. Exceptional drive, energy and communication/presentation skills.
18. Demonstrates a proactive, entrepreneurial spirit and mindset.
19. Tertiary degree in Business, Marketing or other customer focus academic curriculum.
20. Possess a solid track record (3+ years) of selling business value driven software solutions and / or workplace wellbeing solutions and consistently meeting/exceeding annual quotas of $1m+.
