About the Role
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* As a School Cleaner you will contribute to the efficient and effective operation and environment of the school site.
* Ensure that the duties prescribed for the position are carried out and completed to an acceptable standard as per the approved school cleaning program.
* Role and responsibilities include, but are not limited to - cleaning windows doorknobs, taps and sinks, lavatory basins, cleaning and sanitising toilet facilities and sick bay, disposal of rubbish and litter from around building and pathways, dusting, hosing, sweeping and vacuuming and other appropriate duties as directed.
* Other duties may include locking and unlocking of school buildings as well as activating and disarming security systems.
* Be prepared to work as part of a team or on your own as required/directed.
* Have or obtain a current Blue Card and consent to a Criminal History Check.
* Some onsite and online training will be necessary and will be made available.
