Your new company Our client is a global leader within the gas industry with several operations across Australia, providing services for the production and processing of gases. They have an immediate requirement for a Site Supervisor to join the team to provide support during the construction of a key project in Yatala. Your new role As a Site Supervisor, you will be involved in supervising piling works, concrete foundation works, and services installation. Ideally, you will have some experience in mechanical installation, allowing for continued engagement in tasks such as piping, lifting, and mechanical equipment installation (pumps, motors, blowers, etc.). Your responsibilities will include:Reviewing and becoming familiar with site proceduresConducting daily pre-start meetings, discussing tasks for the day and highlighting risksEnsuring contractors undertake works as per the plans and proceduresEnsuring contractors adhere to PPE and site safety requirementsReviewing contractor safe work proceduresIssuing and maintaining permits to work as per documentationEnsuring permits are up-to-date and relevant to the tasksUndertaking inspection of the works for quality and complianceInspecting contractor machinery and tools to ensure they are fit for purposeEnsuring contractor personnel are fit for work and have the required skills and resourcesDaily reporting and signing timesheets for daily works as requiredReceiving deliveries to siteEnsuring housekeeping of the site is maintained to a high standardEnsuring site facilities are maintained to a high standardIncident reporting and liaising with the site HSE officerLiaising with the construction manager for site and technical issuesWhat you'll need to succeed Proven experience in civil construction supervision, with some mechanical installation experience preferredStrong understanding of construction processes and safety regulationsFamiliarity with site proceduresExcellent leadership and team management skillsEffective communication and stakeholder management abilitiesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and plansStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailRelevant qualifications in civil engineering or construction managementWhat you'll get in return Opportunity to work on an exciting and challenging projectCompetitive rateBe part of a supportive and dynamic team committed to excellenceGlobal organisationWhat you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
