Continuing roleCampus independent – based at one of our La Trobe Victorian regional campusesLevel B, Teaching onlyAbout the position La Trobe University offers an established suite of Nursing and Midwifery programs delivered through the School of Nursing and Midwifery and the La Trobe Rural Health School on all regional campuses, including the Bachelor of Nursing, Bachelor of Midwifery, and Postgraduate Diploma of Midwifery. Research areas are supported locally by the Violet Vines Marshman Centre for Rural Health and other initiatives.
A Level B Clinical Practitioner is responsible for teaching-related duties involving the creation, delivery, and content of nursing education, including direct teaching, curriculum design, and involvement in professional accreditation of courses.
Clinical Practitioners work closely with other team members to support students undertaking undergraduate studies in nursing, ensuring an outstanding student experience.
Skills and Experience To be considered for this position, you will have:
A Masters or equivalent clinical experience recognized by the University/profession as appropriate for the Nursing discipline.Registered or eligible to register as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching, curriculum development, and subject coordination in various modes.Recent and relevant clinical/professional experience in the nursing discipline.Sound analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.High-level organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.Demonstrated high-level oral and written communication skills.How to apply Closing date: By 11:55pm on Monday 9th December 2024
