Job Description
The main purpose of this role is to provide support to victim survivors of family violence, enabling them to access a range of services and rebuild their lives.
About the Position
This full-time permanent position is based in Wodonga and involves case management, including risk assessment, crisis response, personal care, life skills training, information and advocacy, and assistance with accessing appropriate long-term housing and employment opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide case management services to victim survivors experiencing family violence
* Risk assessment and crisis response
* Support with personal care and life skills development
* Assist with accessing long-term housing and employment opportunities
Requirements
* Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, or a related social science discipline (or working towards)
* Understanding and commitment to working with diverse client groups
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Victorian Working with Children's Check and National Police Check
