YOUR ROLE IN OUR FUTUREAdvanced Pharmacy Technician - Chemotherapy CompoundingOngoing, Full Time - 80 hours per fortnight The Pharmacy department at Peter Mac provides a comprehensive patient-focused service, incorporating all facets of innovative pharmacy practice and research.
We are looking for an experienced chemotherapy compounding pharmacy technician to join the Peter Mac Cytosuite, our specialised sterile compounding pharmacy service.
This service manufactures over 60,000 compounded sterile preparations per year including complex investigational medicines for clients of the Peter Mac Cytosuite.
This role is responsible for scheduling preparations in the cleanroom, independently verifying manufacturing volumes and supervising aseptic technique of compounders.
The successful candidate will work within a team of highly specialised pharmacy technicians and pharmacists, and report to a Senior Pharmacy Technician.
Remuneration is at Pharmacy Technician Grade 3 (TH10) + 4 years' experience payments + senior's allowance = $73,714.16 per annum (full-time equivalent).

The preferred candidate should have a good understanding of chemotherapy, principles of checking and manufacturing services and generally good data analytic skills.
Experience in pharmacy manufacturing and proven commitment to proactively managing services for clients is highly desirable.
Salary and conditions will be aligned to the Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025.
