The Role:
We are seeking Regional Distribution Operators to join ourFertiliser Operations Team through our busy season.
Our customers are primarily farmers, transport companies andagents who provide fertilisers to the WA agricultural sector. Youwill play a key role in ensuring that the customers who visit our Geraldton site to collect fertiliser receivequality product, on time.
Working as part of an encouraging and experienced team, you willbe dedicated to the safe operation and maintenance of plant andequipment within specified guidelines. This includes ensuring thatthe storage areas are well maintained, and plant machinery runsefficiently. Duties may include operating front end loaders andforklifts in the movement of fertiliser products, as well ascontrol room activities.

Your key responsibilities will include :
5. Carrying out all despatch/storage duties as required according to environmental policies and procedures whilst prioritising safety for self and others in all practices.
6. Assisting in ensuring quality products are available when required.
7. Keeping plant, equipment, and incident history up to date via the appropriate computer-based management systems.
8. Managing plant breakdowns and implementing alternatives to avoid customer delays.
9. Communicating on a regular basis with your Supervisor to ensure products and resources are available to meet customer demands.
10. Consistently promoting and maintaining high levels of customer service.
Do you have a mix of thefollowing skills & experience?
11. Able to carry out duties in accordance with documented procedures and an understanding of permitting systems.
12. Computer literate and open to utilising and learning new technology.
13. Can-do attitude, self-motivated and able to work without supervision and contribute to a strong team culture.
14. Commitment to your own safety and the safety of others and knowledge of safe work methods and practices.
15. Clear communication skills, both written and oral.
16. Ability to problem solve.
17. Prior experience operating mobile and fixed plant is not essential but may be highly regarded.
18. As part of our recruitment process we require all candidates to undertake a pre-employment medical including a Drug & Alcohol test.
Our team are rostered based on the demands of our peak season,with shifts typically rostered between March and July 2024. Thisrole requires you to provide some flexibility with working hoursincluding early morning starts (before 6am) and late finish (after10pm), and you may be required to work some weekends. In return,you will be compensated attractively.
