The rate of pay is aligned with skills, experience, or expertise on Salesforce platforms.Higher Education award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances, and superannuation.Key Responsibilities:Provide software development, configuration, release management, maintenance, and support services to projects and the operational support function covering technical services offered on our client Salesforce platform, under the direction of the Salesforce Platform Team Lead.Use skills and expertise to contribute to the successful delivery of projects under the direction of the Digital Programs and Projects team, and the successful operations of the Incident, Change, and Problem Management functions. Work autonomously to solve complex problems and use initiative to ensure successful business outcomes in a timely manner.Contribute to the innovation, discovery, technical evaluation, and adoption of new toolsets used to deliver services for the University.Use specialised knowledge to assist in technical aspects of vendor and Managed Service Provider engagements including input into preparing scopes of work, facilitating access, reviewing work orders, producing solution designs, test plans, and production acceptance requirements in a Cloud environment.Participate in the Architecture and Estimation processes, working closely with the Digital Architecture and Demand teams to ensure accurate estimation of projects and architectural compliance and fit of solutions.Provide technical advice and assistance to Business Support Services within Student Administration, and act as an escalation point for technical issues and challenges encountered by both staff and external partners.Responsible for the protection of University data and systems through adherence to published policies, standards, and process documents and immediately reporting any suspected breaches, vulnerabilities, or other security issues to the Information Security Team, while also providing input into any improvement opportunities to mitigate any future risks.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with at least 5 years subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.Should have the following Salesforce Certifications or relevant experience:AdministratorPlatform App BuilderPlatform Developer IExperience:Demonstrated minimum 5 years within Application support and development roles in a mid-sized organisation, with relevant software development experience.Extensive experience in software development, integration, configuration, maintenance, and support, and associated methodologies.Systems Analysis in Salesforce environments on both technical and systems.Demonstrated working knowledge of and experience in Salesforce development.Do not miss out on an opportunity to work for this great Australian Higher Education provider!HOW TO APPLY:Please submit your resume (in MS Word Format) for consideration via the link below.
