Gin Gin State High School is situated adjacent to the Bruce Highway, 50 kms north-west of Bundaberg which is a major regional city located in the Wide Bay/Burnett region of Queensland. The school has an enrolment of just over 450 students. The school is also very active in sport and cultural pursuits, celebrated annually in our sports awards and school musical evenings.About The RoleAs the Agricultural Assistant, you will:Contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the school by providing a high level of agricultural systems support to the nominated school staff.Ensure that the agricultural field study sites, animals, crops, machinery and equipment used by the school are maintained in a functional, secure and safe manner.Please view the Role Description for a full list of responsibilities.The Agricultural Assistant reports in the first instance to the Head of Department or subject coordinator responsible for the school's agricultural department, but is ultimately responsible to the school Principal. Agricultural Assistants may report directly to the school Business Manager on some issues.Interested?
