Due to the nature of position, some local and interstate travel may be required.Job DescriptionWe are currently offering an opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us as a Senior Service and Technical Sales Engineer on a maximum-term (2 years), full-time basis. This role will be based from our Clayton head-office, but will be required to travel regularly to customer sites across Victoria.Position responsibilities will include:Generate, plan and execute service, maintenance, and training activities for BAMS customersSchedule service engineering team and be the first level of escalation for service engineering topics from the other Service EngineersAssist customers with identifying requirements and develop solutionsPromote the sale of spare parts, equipment, services, and aftermarket supportEnsure that safety and quality standards are maintainedManage parts, installation, testing and sales opportunitiesQualificationsWe are looking for a technically-strong professional with the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment by utilising strong communication and cooperation skills.You should be able to demonstrate the following:Electrical Connect/Disconnect license up to 400Vac is highly desirableMechanical design using Solid works and Allen Bradley PLC experienceStrong background in mechanical engineering, PLC software, robot setup and general software experiencePrevious experience with supervision of build and installation projects essential, with experience in supervision of other trades and professional team members highly desiredGood communication skills and ability to work well both in a team and independentlyProficient in MS OfficeAvailable for local, interstate and occasional international travelYour ApplicationWe are committed to building a sustainable, inclusive, and diverse workforce in all its forms.
