About the role:
Lendlease ACT are currently looking for multiple Project Engineers to join our team and work a soon to commence project in Canberra.
This position will initially see you working on the design of the fit-out package on this project for 12-18 months, before moving into delivery and managing subcontractors and suppliers on site.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
4. Develop and manage medium and short-range construction programs.
5. Design management and coordination.
6. Client management and liaison.
7. Procurement of tender packages and preparation of subcontract agreements.
8. Review and sign-off of subcontractor claims and variations.
9. Preparation of cost forecasts and manage cost controls/reporting for designated work areas.
10. Implementation of project EHS and quality plans and project management plan requirements.
To be successful, you will need:
11. Be an Australian Citizen at the time of application.
12. Hold a Negative Vetting 2 Security Clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
13. 3-6 (or more) years' experience in the construction industry, preferably on large-scale construction projects.
14. Previous design and on-site construction experience, looking after major trade packages.
15. Degree qualification in a relevant field of study (Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management etc).
16. Clear and articulate communication skills coupled with an ability to manage stakeholders, both internally and externally.
