So what will you actually be doing as a Disability Support Worker (DSW) in Residential Accommodation? This rewarding role supports adults with disability one-on-one or in groups, in their homes and occasionally in the community. You will work closely with individuals to implement personalised plans that address their unique needs and goals. No one work day (or night) will be the same! You might support clients with: working towards their goals shopping, appointments and events daily living and personal care needs, including assistance with meal preparation, personal hygiene and mobility overnight care About You We're looking for people who are passionate, have a great attitude and an eagerness to learn. A Certificate IV in Disability, relevant work experience or an interest in community services would be great, if you already have any of these.
