✨ About You: ✨
✅ Enrolment into a Certificate IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention, Youth Work, Social Work or similar
✅ Australian Drivers Licence (P2 or higher)
✅ Working with Children Check (Blue card)
✅ Current First Aid & CPR certificate
✅ The ability to work a mixture of day, night and weekend shifts as required

As a Residential Youth Worker, you'll be part of something extraordinary. You will provide day-to-day assistance, guidance, support and empowerment to help young people achieve their goals.
The role is a casual opportunity offering flexible work arrangements, consistent lines of work and great work-life balance.
Shift times are as below but can vary:
AM: 0800 - 1600
PM: 1600 - 2200 + (2200 - 0600 Passive) + 0600-0800
✨Responsibilities: ✨
Your responsibilities will include:
* Establish a secure and nurturing home environment for at-risk young people
* Offer guidance and support with personal care requirements including meal assistance and hygiene routines
* Provide transportation for school, appointments and community activities
* Foster the development of skills and socialisation within the local community, alongside promoting positive pro-social peer interactions
* Support in the administration of medications and associated reporting requirements for children on Child Protection orders
* Provide trauma-informed care to young people who display complex behavioural issues and traumatic backgrounds
* Engage in the Trauma Recovery practice framework and undertake Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) within the first three months of your employment
