Project Manager – State Government Contract
Location: Fremantle, WA
Rate: $80 per hour + super
Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Duration: 6-month contract.
Join a Leading State Government Team in a Project Manager Role based in Fremantle assisting in the delivery of current and upcoming maintenance projects!
Key duties include:
* Manage end to end delivery of multiple projects, ensuring they meet specified requirements and timelines.
* Develop and maintain various project management deliverables to support project execution including Business Requirements, Scopes of Work, Project Delivery Plans, Schedules, and Project Closure Reports.
* Prepare Final Investment Decisions utilising commercially sound justifications and delivering accurate cost estimates to obtain budget approval.
* Identify, manage and report projects risks, issues and interdependencies to maintain cost, quality and schedule compliance.
* Manage project budgets, objectives and planned benefits, ensuring successful project completion and value realisation.
* Partner effectively with key stakeholders and influence critical outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience required:
* Demonstrated experience managing maintenance projects.
* Familiarity with project management frameworks, methodologies, and products.
* Excellent knowledge of project controls, change management, scheduling and risk management.
* Integrated, analytical and systematic approach to problem solving.
* Change management skills, ability to influence and negotiate outcomes.
* Well-developed communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal) including the ability to develop team skills and rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
