Preferred Location: 4 days onsite in Eastern Cleveland area, OH. 1 day remote
Role Description:
* Act as the subject matter expert to projects on SAP FICO functional modules in the role arena and advise what the art of the possible is.
* Elicit requirements using interviews, process reviews, shadowing, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task & workflow analysis.
* Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and identify and close gaps.
* Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and SAP functional requirements.
* Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
* Interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
* Act as the liaison between the customer community and the SAP application teams regarding SAP capability.
* Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze trade-offs between usability, functionality, and performance needs.
* Implement and deploy SAP template solution to achieve defined business goals for Finance and controlling components.
* Own and manage the design, documentation, and implementation of processes and process improvements in conjunction with process owners and SAP functional specialists.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years SAP full cycle implementation experience in Financial Accounting, Controlling, and Management Accounting.
* Experienced SAP finance subject matter expert who can engage with business and configure SAP solutions.
* Previous Manufacturing industry experience.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Identify and manage senior stakeholders and establish effective communication channels.
* Specify requirements for toolset adaptations and develop migration strategies.
* Provide technical expertise within their functional area and be a role model to others.
* Good appreciation of systems design and SAP configuration.
* Working knowledge of appropriate legislation and accounting standards.
* Day-to-day use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio & PowerPoint.
* Able to facilitate workshops and lead discussions.
* Knowledge of business processes and commercial drivers.
