Permanent full time position From $121,000.00 and up to $135,000.00 per annum FIFO arrangements (8 weeks on, 2 weeks off) can be explored for the right candidate, though it’s not the preferred option. Although quite a remote community, it has basic services and facilities, including a health clinic, school, and various community services. You will be close to beautiful scenery, including rivers, coastal areas, and nearby national parks.Living in a remote community like this may appeal to those seeking a quieter and more peaceful lifestyle away from the hustle and bustle of urban areas.Key Responsibilities Work within the Mental Health Program in partnership with the multi-disciplinary team to provide high quality prevention and treatment Provide culturally safe, competent and comprehensive care Build relationships with local communities to understand and address mental health needs Coordinate with local healthcare providers, social services, and other relevant agencies to ensure comprehensive care Essential Requirements Current AHPRA registration with no restrictions Current Remote Emergency Care certificate and/or Advance Life Support certificate Current accredited Immunisation Provider certificate (recognised in the NT) Remote Pharmacotherapeutic Certificate (or equivalent) Manual Driver’s License At least (5) years of broad nursing experience post registration and 3 years working in a primary health related field in a remote context, with advanced clinical skills and competencies applicable to remote settings (including the ability to triage, work independently and participate in emergency calls and First Response) Must have full Australian working rights (Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency, a valid Working Visa, or New Zealand Citizenship).
