Fuse Recruitment are sourcing for a Maintenance Fitter for a large International client based in Ingleburn to become part of a dynamic and progressive maintenance team in the Food Manufacturing Industry.THE CLIENT: Our client is one of Australia's largest Food Manufacturers located in Ingleburn supplying some of Australia's most iconic brands and are recognised as leading edge providers of quality products in their industry.WHAT'S ON OFFER: Excellent rates of Pay - $57per hour (Permanent) = Overtime penalties Working Monday to Friday 1pm – 9pm or 2pm – 10pm rosters Working with state of the art equipment and production machinery.Opportunity to work and further advance your knowledge in Automation and leading edge technology in the industry.Long term opportunity with career progression THE OPPORTUNITY: We are currently looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join the maintenance team based at Ingleburn.The Maintenance Fitter will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and work closely with Maintenance Electricians, Operators and Process Engineers to ensure that Equipment and Production machinery reliability is dealt with in an efficient and timely manner.As a strong team player the Maintenance Fitter will be willing to work and collaborate to assist operationally outside the areas of core responsibility and contribute to building a high performing team culture.THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Working days: Working Monday to Friday 1pm – 9pm or 2pm – 10pm rosters Duties: Carry out Preventative and Breakdown maintenance to plant and equipment within the production facility to ensure the plant is run smoothly and can produce products in line with factory schedule Document Completed works High level of technical and diagnostic skills to enable fault finding of a mechanical nature.High level of technical and diagnostic skills to enable fault finding of a mechanical nature.Participate in repair and maintenance of all site plant and equipment.(Welding duties required) Complete services to machinery which includes working in confined spaces to ensure issues are identified and resolved before they occur.Take the lead on delivery of smaller projects to scope/user requirements.Participate in repair and maintenance of all site plant and equipment.Knowledge of and promote safe work practices.THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE: Trade Certificate and/or equivalent qualification 3-5 years previous experience in an Industrial manufacturing environment Welding experience Forklift license Confined space license advantageous Electrical disconnect/reconnect advantageous Elevated work platform (EWP) over 11 m Knowledge of equipment maintenance processes.Excellent teamwork skills and ability to maintain a hands-on approach when required.Knowledge of WH&S requirements within a production environment.Demonstrated understanding of Work, Health and Safety If this position sounds like you then hit APPLY now, alternatively email Shareen Kumar on ****** with your resume.At Fuse, we specialise in recruitment for the manufacturing industry and actively source a variety of roles for a broad range of manufacturers.If you are looking for a new opportunity, we'd love to hear from you!
