All about the role:As a Manufacturing Process Quality Engineer, you play a key role in the quality department, supporting the team by ensuring new and existing products and parts meet Electrolux quality standards. You will maintain and improve the internal process control systems needed for consistent production build quality. What you'll do: Ensure factory manufacturing control processes are developed, implemented, validated, and maintained to achieve the required critical to quality standards for both performance and fit and finish. Support Process Failure Modes Effect Analysis (PFMEA) for new and current product and develop resulting process control systems. Create control plans for new or changed processes in alignment with process owners. Support trial builds for new and changed products and processes. Support rework reduction programmes and root cause analysis with a view to reduce product Not Right First Time (NRFT). Review and approval of manufacturing standardised work processes with quality focus. Provide support, group direction, training and reporting for the problem-solving improvement process. Ensure metrology processes are implemented to measure and verify manufactured parts conformance to Electrolux specifications. Implementation/programming of components onto the CMM machine. Support the Metrology Quality Technician in the part approval system and documentation. Support the Metrology Quality Technician with the calibration system to ensure that all measuring equipment is calibrated and aligns with process controls. Perform internal process and systems audits. Promote digitalisation and simplification of Quality Verification Processes, Quality Data Sources and Quality Data distribution. Core Competencies Degree qualified electrical or mechanical engineer or appropriate experience preferred. Experience in quality assurance, project management or development processes are desirable. Experience with manufacturing processes or manufacturing environment. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in measurements and documentation. Well organized and able to complete several competing tasks while maintaining high standards. Knowledge of statistical calculation methods and various quality tools (capability analysis, SPC, Ishikawa, PFMEA, PCP, etc.) is an advantage. Computer skills with a competence level in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint etc. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
