The Role Reporting directly to the GM, the Head of Sales role will occupy a pivotal role in growing Archi Pro's expansion market of Australia by leading a team of Inside Sales Specialists, Business Development Managers and New Business Directors to grow our client base. As the Head of Sales your primary goal is to help grow a high performing team who onboards the right clients, while ensuring they hit revenue and client acquisition targets. You will need to have strong commercial and sales acumen, be an inspiring leader and be able to balance supporting your team with client proposals as well as focusing on strategic growth. Archi Pro's Commercial Team is the driving force behind the revenue that fuels our continuous product evolution in the architectural world. The Head of Sales is an essential pillar of our growth and client acquisition strategy, operating within a dynamic and multifaceted industry. The success of Archi Pro hinges on our ability to attract and onboard new clients, expanding our reach and influence within our two-sided marketplace. In this high-impact position, you will serve as a critical link between our New Zealand and Australian teams to capture market opportunities and actual client engagement. Collaborating closely with marketing, advertising and client service teams, you will leverage insights into market trends and client feedback to refine outreach efforts and enhance the client onboarding process. This concerted effort will maximize client satisfaction, ensure successful integration into our platform, and increase long-term engagement and retention. Areas of Responsibility Responsibilities: Lead a team of 8 made up of Inside Sales Specialists, BDM's and New Business Directors. Analyze supplier onboarding processes and results, leveraging data to refine approaches and increase the efficiency and effectiveness of supplier acquisition. Develop training and development programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the team. Establish strong, ongoing relationships with new suppliers, serving as a reliable advisor and ensuring they are well-supported in their transition and continued partnership with Archi Pro. Strategic Client Relations: Conduct deep dives into client to identify trends and opportunities that could benefit potential and current partners. Design and implement bespoke onboarding plans for major suppliers, ensuring a tailored and effective introduction to Archi Pro's services. Act as a thought leader and trusted advisor to supplier clients, continuously delivering value and exceeding expectations to foster long-term loyalty and growth. Collaboration and Cross-Functional Teamwork: Collaborate closely with the marketing and advertising teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns that attract high-quality suppliers to the Archi Pro platform. Work with the Product Development team to ensure the platform meets the evolving needs of new suppliers, enhancing their experience and engagement. Requirements Proven Experience in Advertising and Media : Over 10 years of experience in advertising and media sales, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of media sales and advertising solutions that drive business growth and brand engagement. Proven Experience in Business Development : Minimum of 10 years in business development or a related field, with a strong track record of securing and onboarding new business partners. Strategic Thinking and Planning Skills : Ability to develop and execute innovative strategies to attract and integrate new suppliers into a dynamic marketplace. Industry Knowledge : Deep understanding of the retail and brand marketing industries, including current trends and challenges, to better align strategies with potential suppliers' realities. Strong Negotiation and Sales Skills : Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and close deals, ensuring both the company's and suppliers' needs are met profitably.
